Founded by Elle Ferguson in 2016, ELLE EFFECT began as a self-tan. Born from Elle’s mission to develop a safe, sunless tan that delivered the perfect colour and came in the perfect bottle, this Australian beauty brand has quickly become much more.
The current product offering includes one self-tanning mousse, an applicator mitt (as well as being able to buy both as a kit) and exclusive merchandise, but ELLE EFFECT is an attitude that comes from within.
ELLE EFFECT is the result of Elle’s passion for beauty and wellness and her belief that “good things happen to babes who self-tan”.
ELLE EFFECT Tan is designed and manufactured in California, it’s cruelty-free, vegan and good to your skin. Also, it’s scented with real rose oil - a World first - so say goodbye to lingering fake tan smells and hello to the #ElleEffect.

As well as being the owner and Creative Director of Elle Effect, Elle Ferguson is a global digital influencer and entrepreneur.
Having worked with the likes of H&M, Billabong, Country Road, Revolve, Ouai and Oroton to name a few, Elle has also featured on the covers of Cosmopolitan, Cosmopolitan Bride and Gritty Pretty. She was also the Cosmopolitan Woman of the Year – Fashion, Social Media in 2017.
While also known for her golden tan and beachy waves, it's her view that beauty comes from within, that has her best recognised.
